I ordered Proin Tablets for my dog and was informed that I needed to send in an original prescription, I then went to my Vet and retrieved the Script since for some reason they couldn't fax it, then I waited a week and was told they still haven't received it.
I emailed the following day and was told that they want me to give the mail 10 days, so I guess they are in a part of Florida that has very slow mail service, but even then they won't be able to fulfill my order since they "just ran out of Proin and won't be getting any in till March 20th" it is now Feb 23rd so now I have to go back to my Vet and purchase from them as I should have done to begin with.
I'm not sure why it Would take a month for them to receive their supply ofa common supplement for dogs but I'm guessing it's got to do with where it's coming from China maybe? Hi Eric and thank you for your feedback.
We're very sorry for any miscommunication. Most veterinary offices will provide the prescription authorization for us by phone or fax. Due to pharmacy regulations, from the consumer we must have the original prescription. Unfortunately, Proin is on backorder from the manufacturer. I ordered Seresto flea collars on the website one for small dog, one for indoor cat. I emailed them immediately letting them know the collars didn't seem to be working and within 15 minutes received a reply from customer service apologizing for the problem and not one, but TWO options to take further action.

This is my last and final order. I realized I had ordered the wrong pet meds when the box was being shipped. I received the shipment and refused the shipment because I knew I had ordered the wrong item. The order total was After I refused the shipment I logged on to PetMed website to send them and email and let them know I returned the item, this was April 30, I received an email from PetMeds stating that their refund policy was I would receive my refund in 7 to 10 days.
On April 26, I still did not have my refund. Kim Klemm apologized saying PetMeds was not aware of me returning any items, even though I had corresponded with their rep on March 30, I has now been over 30 days and I still dont have my refund of Klemm stated she processed my refund it has not shown up on my credit card.
My guess is I will wait another 30 days to receive it if I ever receive it. Because of the dishonesty and the lack of attention to processing refunds at a time like this when many people are jobless or confined to their homes, I would seriously think twice about shopping with PetMeds.

On the 14th I checked back my order only to find that they had called the wrong vet office this is the beginning of dealing with sheer stupidity!
I contacted them and advised them that their mistake. In the late afternoon of April 16th I checked the status of my order and it was still « pending vet approval ». Again I contacted them only to be told that it was too late and they will contact the vet the following day to get the approval and since I was running out of the meds, they would expedite my order overnight free of charge. Monday April 19 once again I checked to see if indeed my order was shipped and it was still « waiting for vet approval »!
I contacted them again only to be told that « they had contacted the vet's office and was put on hold »! While chatting online with the rep at petmeds, I was told they were currently contacting the vet's office. I decided to call the vet's office at the same time. I was on the phone with the pharmacist the vet's office for apx. Not to mention the pharmacist told me « I don't know why they would be calling us when in fact they know any request for approval needs to be made via email »!
So sent that message to petmeds and I was told they were going to send the email request. Sigh, today April 21 I checked to see if my order was being processed once again it was still « waiting for vet approval ». Once again i contacted them and asked why this is still the case and I was told by Jacqueline that this medication « Gabapentin is handled differently than most meds because its a controlled substance and cannot be put through electronically.
Therefore their pharmacists has to call them. Hummmm I thought they called yesterday and the day before that, and on Friday and Saturday! When I challenged her response she disconnected the conversation! Tip for consumers: Do NOT use this site if you want to get meds for your pet! You have to babysit them to do their job! AFter waiting over 2 weeks and no update email I logged onto my account to check status of order.
Waiting for customer approval. I questioned what are you waiting for, my vet already approved ct. The response was that my vet only approved 60ct. I called my vet. They approved the original ct. I call your customer service again to question why my order hasnt shipped. Now you tell me order wont ship until I get bloodwork for my dog. I called my vet again. My vet never requested bloodwork they approved the ct Proin and are confused why they keep trying to blame the vet.
Again, I call customer service and the rep was argumentative with me. She needed the vet to sign off on the proin in order for the shipment to take place. At this point I told her to cancel my order and I would never order from pet meds again. Thanks to them, almost 4 weeks have gone by and now I'm out of my dogs medicine due to their incompetance.

Unfortunately, we can't sell a 90 count bottle for the price of the 30 count bottle. You won't be able to find that price for a 90 count bottle from any reputable source because it is less than the actual cost of the product.
They send me an email for reordering 2 prescriptions. I get a call a week after confirming the order and the pharmacist tells me that I am ordering 1 if them too early!
How am I doing it too early when they are the ones sending me the reminder to order again? Then the pharmacist had me count the remaining pills I have. When he finds out I will need more in a week, he questions me about it like I am misusing my 18 year old dogs meds. My dog takes 1 peice of a pill every hours or as needed for pain. I have never been treated this way when ordering his medications elsewhere.
The man or woman on phone was rude and unhelpful! I have cancelled the order with petmeds and will happily get them filled through my vet again. They did not care one bit about losing a customer, nor did they try anything to correct the issue.
